OpenWorld Learning offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals to participate in. Volunteers enable OWL to produce greater outcomes and as a result, give more students a quality experience learning to embrace technology and ignite a love of learning.

We are looking for committed volunteers to assist in our office, at our elementary and middle school sites, and at multiple annual events. If any of the opportunities above interest you, the first step is to attend one of our OWL Unplugged sessions. Mark you calendars for the next OWL Unplugged!

Attend an OWL Unplugged

See OWL students in action and visit a site during OWL Unplugged. These open houses happen monthly and are a great way to be introduced to the program, meet students, staff, and see OWL students projects. View upcoming dates.

Attend a Special Event

Support OWL by attending an annual event such as the TechFair or Writing the Code for Success Gala and Auction.

Friends of OWL Restaurant Nights

We have teamed up with restaurants in the community including  Trattoria Stella on Colfax, CiCis, and Patxi’s Pizza for and are always open to new places!

Career Day

Host a Career Exploration field trip or an in-class Career Panel to help inform our students about potential future careers and possibilities available to them in the world of technology, design, and programming.
